Hi there, Vibrant Fam ✨

2025 is already off to a wild start. No matter how you’re feeling about the state of the world, one thing’s for sure: this year is unlike any other. In the spirit of self-improvement, challenge, and doing something wildly out of the ordinary—I’ve decided to pursue the Abbott World Marathon Majors.

Now, if you’re not familiar with what that means, don’t worry—I’ll be figuring it out alongside you. The Abbott World Marathon Majors are a series of seven 26.2-mile races held in major cities around the world. As of now, the races are: New York City, Chicago, Boston, Berlin, London, Tokyo, and the recently added Sydney Marathon.

You might be wondering: How did I get here? Who wakes up one day and decides that running marathons in seven different global cities is the kind of challenge worth chasing?

Well, it started last October when I spontaneously ran the Amica Newport Half-Marathon with my partner’s sister, Leigh. I trained for maybe two weeks (not recommended 😅), but something clicked. I fell in love with the sport. Since then, I’ve been chasing that runner’s high.

Running is unlike anything I’ve done before. In the first few miles, your body and mind beg you to quit. But if you can get past that—something incredible happens. It’s mental, it’s physical, it’s emotional. And I was hooked.

Fast forward: I entered the lottery for the United Airlines Half-Marathon, got in, and ran it last weekend. I also started applying to run some of the World Majors through charity programs.

And then... to my absolute shock: ✅ I was accepted to run the TCS New York City Marathon this November 2025 ✅ AND the Tokyo Marathon in March 2026

That’s two of the seven down. I’m still pinching myself.

To track my training, fundraising, and race experiences, I’m reviving my love for writing right here on this blog. This space will serve as a personal journal and a place to keep you updated on all the chaos, growth, and milestones along the way.

I’m excited. I’m nervous. But I’m all in.

Only around 17,500 people have ever completed all seven World Majors. And even fewer have tackled multiple marathons. This is a journey that only 0.01% of the world has taken—and I’m honored (and humbled) to be stepping onto that path. Thanks for being here. Stay Vibrant, y’all—and let’s do this.
